Tres amusing! But what if you have a word that you have misused your entire life!!??
How horrified was l to discover a word that l have used within my lifetime is indeed out of context! I sit here and squirm, trying to remember who l have said it to. I am sure l do not use this word often but l do know that l have used it. How many times? To whom?
The discovery....
It was only when l asked someone last week "Are you ****?"and the look on their face told me that we had a totally different understanding of my question.
I thought that l had been enquiring if the person was agitated or edgy....what l was really asking was...are you.....
